Allow to separate Intro from first question

Currently (v7.4), we do not have the option to put the first question on the next page unless we create fake first question, hide it and check the "New page" for the (now) second question. It would be nice if we had a "New page" check box for the first question.

We sometimes have long Intro texts that we want to appear in a first page, separately from the first question of the survey. Currently, if I want to add a page break, I need to insert an empty Header question and check the 'New page' box on the following question.

I end up with a dark green band at the bottom of the Intro because that's our Header background color, whereas our Intro background is whitish. If I hide the blank header question, Key Survey ignores the page break and tack the first question at the bottom of the Intro. The only way is to add a question-specific edit to the CSS and make the background of that specific header transparent.

Wouldn't it be so much easier if we could just check a 'New page' box on the very first question of the suvey?

  • Thank you very much for your idea.

We are constantly striving to improve Key Survey functionality by implementing new features suggested by our customers to make your experience with our application as convenient as possible. Our Product Management and Development teams constantly review Wish List items and work on their development.

Such request is already in our Wish List and might be implemented in one of the future releases. There is no ETA for this yet. For your reference the ticket number is WL-494.

We sure will let you know once any update on the matter appears and ETA will be brought to light.

In a meantime, the solution you use will solve the case. Please let us know if there is anything else we could assist you with. We are always glad to help in any possible way!
