display a number of questions based off the answer of a previous question

Can I display a number of questions based off the answer of a previous question? For example, if Q1 is "how many paintings do you want to rate" and A1=0, A2=1,A3=2 and A4=3 then:
Show Q2-Q7 if Q1.A2
Show Q2-Q13 if Q1.A3
Show Q2-Q19 if Q1.A4

  • Dear Barry,

That is absolutely possible to achieve with the Show/Hide logic.

In case your first question is the Dropdown box question type that allows the user to select the number from 0 to 3 paintings (where A1=0, A2=1, A3=2, A4=3), then you can use the following rules:
    Show Q2.A1 if ( Q1.A2 OR Q1.A3 OR Q1.A4 )
    Show Q2.A2 if ( Q1.A3 OR Q1.A4 )
    Show Q2.A3 if Q1.A4

Let us know if that information was useful. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

    Best regards,
    Natalia
