The most useful report KeySurvey does not provide...

While a survey is live, one of the most useful things to see is the response rate by day. This tells you when to time reminders or end the survey. I would love to have this as a canned report rather than have to build it myself each day.

  • Hi Denita.
I am glad to tell you that we have this feature (daily based automatic report) added into our Wish List for future consideration by our Developers groups as well as two workarounds which I can suggest you:
    I) Daily email report with Filter option within it.
How it works: you receiving daily email with a link to report, and, when proceeding with this link from your email account you will be able to use Filter option (just a couple of clicks) to filter by date, and then see the results and to be able to export the report into Excel or PDF.
How to set it? Easily. First thing you will need is to create a custom report, which will be sent later. For that go to Reports, choose needed survey on the list from the left, click New Report on the Standard one, give it a name and hit Next. Then go to the Rules page and check:
    - Filter option
    - Convert to PDF option (if needed)
    - Export to Excel option (if needed)
We've done with the first part. After applying described changes hit Save and proceed to Publish page. Choose Email Report option and hit Next. There you will be able:
    1) Edit body of the email that you will receive into your inbox.
    2) Choose distribution method (Email link to report is highly recommended).
    3) Set Email Report every 1 day.
Then hit Apply button and you will be all set with this workaround.

As an outcome you will be receiving daily email with the link to report, upon accessing which you may filter it by today's date (which is a lot more easier than login into the system and change that within a report), and then see and export all today's information.

II) If you would like to only see daily rate (sent vs submitted surveys) you may consider doing next:
Click on the number under Incomplete column to the right from your survey (you will be doing that from the page where all the surveys are displayed) to access Email Results page. Then hit View Details button (under number 2) and Email campaign details will be shown within a new page for you with the statistics on how many emails has been sent and how many of them has been completed.

I hope this information will be valuable for you.
Should you have any questions or problems regarding these workarounds or with other piece of our functionality - please do not hesitate to contact support@worldapp.com - we are always glad to help :)
